When I look at life all I see is more.... More fun, more possessions, more zeal....more ambitions , more acheivements, more... more ...more... more ...more... I am programmed for more. How often do i settle for what is ok for now? How often do I take advantage of this programming? Sometimes it seems like this programming has a bug and it overiddes with laziness. Why? If more is what I want, and more is what I need...than why is just ok for now good enough? Television, internet, sleeping, shopping, cleaning, working all seem to have a priority, but when is enough enough. I want to get on with RIGHT now and move on...I want more! WHAT IS STOPPING ME? IS IT ME? IS IT NOT ME? HARD TO TELL BUT I NEED TO FIGURE IT OUT. I am called to abundance. I am programmed with an eternal purpose, not just a right now way of thought. There is more to this than now...WHAT About my eternal purpose? That is what really matters!!! MY ambitions, MY thoughts, MY desires are for what are going to fail right before me. Why do we as humans LOVE THIS more than our ETERNAL possessions. WE are miraculous machines, biological machines with a purpose, a destiny and REASon. WHY can't my reason be revealed now? I want the more, but I stand in my own way! I HATE when I do that.!!! It isn't any ,one, or thing . ITS ME!! how crazy is that. I put myself in the way. Why don't I throw myself to the side? Kick me to the curb....IT's TIME!!

Wow. I truly wonder how this holiday will ever continue. I understand it has been commercialized and all but what about it't true origin? What happened to the real meaning of christmas? Doesn't anyone remember CHRIST?
Jesus' birth is the whole precedent behind this holiday and He is being taken out. It's not even a slow process. It starts out as simple as replacing Christ with an "X" but then continues on to the employee who gets fired from their job for saying "Merry Christmas" instead of "HAPPY HOLIDAYS"
How absurd can we get people? What doesn't the populus understand? It is a christian Holiday. A day for CHRISTians by CHRISTians to remember CHRIST! I may sound a bit angry but its just a passion for the true meaning of this holiday to be allowed to exist.
There is a story out of Wisconsin (I believe) that there was a play that has been performed for the past 40 years in this community. This past year it was being thwarted by a few liberals in this community and was discontinued (shortly) because of its religious themes. This theatrical performance has been a traditon for 40 years. 40 YEARS! Just because a few people have a hard time with a "christian" theme, they cannot deny this communities traditions. Where would we be without traditions? What would we have to look back upon and remember from whence we came?
Another story that really made me chuckle to myself was when little kids in a school choir were asked to sing a "TRADITIONAL" CHRISTmas carol and when the words (KING,SAVIOR,LORD) were sung the children were asked to hum them due to their extreme religious connotation. If the children continued to sing the words they were removed from the choir permenantly. WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD OUT THERE?
Please just understand that this holiday is pure with intent to celebrate the most significant birth of all history. A saviour was born to this world. A saviour that came to love the world and teach them to love, a saviour who came to set men and women free from all of the baggage that they are just figuring they need to just get used to. This HOLYday is a favorite time of the year for more than just the reason of giving and receiving gifts. It represents a new life, a chance to taste eternity, a great time for celebrating a great event that has had great effects on the entire world. I wish that CHRIST and christmas could once again be joined as it has been. Afterall there would only be '' MAS" without CHRIST>>>
